Q&A

Quick answers before you sign up.

What is Gaskivo?

Gaskivo is one of the educational information sites run by The Nelson M Group LLC. Everything on it is auto insurance information, written for ordinary readers.

How do I unsubscribe or have my data deleted?

Email [email protected] and we will remove you, or use the unsubscribe link in any message.

Can I skip the texts?

Never automatically. The form has one unchecked box, and you can submit without ticking it.

What do I get when I sign up?

You get educational information on the topic you pick, sent by email if you leave an address. Opt in to texts and short messages point you to the same guides.

Can you tell me if my car counts as a classic?

No. Insurers define that themselves. The guides explain the usual factors.

Will you give me a quote or tell me what I should pay?

No. Prices depend on your state, your vehicle, your drivers and each company’s own formula. We explain the pieces so you can ask better questions of insurers yourself.

Which fields are required?

No. Leave the email, mobile and ZIP boxes empty if you like. We ask only for your name, a topic and agreement to the privacy terms.

Do you arrange roadside service?

No. We do not dispatch or arrange anything. The guides explain what roadside coverage generally means.

Does Gaskivo work as an insurance company, agent or broker?

Not at all. We write general guides about auto insurance. We do not sell it, we are not licensed to, and none of it is insurance, legal or financial advice.

How do I stop texts?

Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP if you need help. Email [email protected] if you would rather write.

What is the message frequency?

It varies, but never more than about 8 a month. Msg & data rates may apply.

Can I file a claim here?

No. Claims go to your own insurer. If anyone is hurt after a crash, call 911 first.

Do you pass my name to anyone?

No. Your name and details are not given to insurance companies, agents, quote sites or other partners. The Privacy Policy covers how we handle what you send.

Which company should I choose?

That is your call, and we do not point you to one. We do not rank or match you with insurers or agents.
